BLUEGRASS

This kitchen remodel involved the full re-working of the existing floor plan in order to create a more functional kitchen with seating for guests. A second opening to the kitchen was framed to provide more space for lower cabinetry and a peninsula countertop was removed to provide more space for seating. We created a pass-through above the kitchen sink to allow light to permeate the space and sightlines to the adjacent entryway and staircase to be preserved. The use of blue in this kitchen kept it feeling tranquil and tied it in perfectly with the use of material and colour throughout the rest of the home.
