HIGH PARK

This renovation involved adding an addition to the rear of the home to provide additional living space for a family of four. The client wanted to ensure that the line between what was existing and what was new was blurred enough that the home felt like it was all built at the same time. The former kitchen ended after the first cabinet to the left of the gas range. A wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed, a spacious island was added, and new cabinets that matched the existing were added to extend the kitchen. We also added a fireplace with built ins to a new family room and a powder room near the rear entrance.
